Shock Choices ???
What shocks are you running? What have you tried and liked\dis-liked?
I like the KYB's but was looking for something chromed AND highly rated...hard to find both of those qualities in the same product.
I have a lowered front mono-leaf and almost stock rear leaf.

Ed, I'm in the same position as you. I'm running Monroe shocks on the rears and I can't say what I have on the fronts? I'd love to go with coilovers or Chromed shocks and noticed the prices Phoenixson posted are pretty good. I haven't found chrome shocks that would fit our trucks yet especially the front after lowering the front end. The shocks are out there, I'm just not ready to pay $$$$ for them.

Hey guys, Thanks for the link. I bought KYB gas-a-just for my montero and really like the feel, but they just arnt flashy enough for the truck I'm building. I currently have a cheap version by procomp that I got thru Ebay for 10.00 , yep 10.00 for all 4. When you sit in the truck you can rock it back and forth...no shock pressure. Just used the for mock-up.
I thought about some nice motorcycle air shocks but was told they might not be strong enough???
There has to be somebody on this site who has found some nice chromed shocks.....

e william: I think my shocks might be similar to your current ones. The front ones are red and the back ones are black. They are new (not even scratched), but have no names or anything on them. They have some pressure though (addmittedly...not much).
