I have a 351W that I plan to put in my new to me 67 F100 (bought it without engine or tranny), I do have a C4 that would be the easy option, but I also have a T98 4sp out of a 60 F100 that was bolted to a 223 6cyl. Any way to make the T98 work with the 351?
The T98 and the 351W could work, if the trans bolt pattern matches the bolt pattern on the bellhousing. Of course you'll need a flywheel and clutch assembly, too. You may have to fabricate a tranny mount for the T98, I'm not sure.
John has a good point. An aod would be pretty sweet...
