I can't tell
how can I tell the diff between a turbo and non-turbo '94 e350 diesel engine?
looking at a shuttle bus to buy-but neither the seller or I can tell from the photos whether or not it is a diesel. i'm non-mechanically oriented but from the pic it appears that the air intake it is quite wide. i need more info. though.

If you can look at the vin #, look at the 8th digit. If its a "K" its the turbo diesel. If its "M" then its the non turbo diesel. "F" deignates the powerstroke diesel but I dont think Ford put the powerstoke in the E-series until 1995.
