Frontier has a full replacement bumper that doesnt weight over 200 lbs. It looks good and wont make your front suspension sag. I have only seen this bumper on a dodge but it was well built. Here is the site (click here)
offroad alloys would be my first choice if money wasn't an option. I don't see listings for 05/06 bumpers. Their website hasn't been updated in a while and they never responded to my phone and email inquiry
Which one do you have? I looked at them but the only close dealer wasn't the most helpful and would prefer to not buy one from them. But ranchhand won't sale me one direct because I have a dealer within 100 miles.
It looks mean, it protects the front end of the truck very well, and it serves as a great mounting platform for my emergency lighting, driving lights, and siren speakers.
Unfortunately, it's not cheap, nor light. It's well over 200 pounds - they use a forklift with a ball mount on the receiver to position it. I'd recommend having one-plus springs in the front... I ordered the camper package with my truck specifically to add the support for the front and rear end replacements, as well as my Knap Kap commercial topper.
