I am having trouble locating a rear sump oil pan for my 75 ford High Boy. The motor is a 428 and everything I find is a front sump. If someone knows where I can find one I would appreciate it.
I bought an oil pan kit from Summit Racing for my 460 that had everything to convert from front sump to rear (oil pan, gasket, extended pickup tube, main cap bolt, and dipstick) for about $180. You might try there.
I have checked probably 100 different websites trying to find this oil pan. I found two one that is on back order for at least another 6 weeks and the other is $300 out of summit but the dipstick is on the wrong side. I have my 428 completely built and just sitting there because I can't get a oil pan. I would love to get this back in my truck so I can drive e real vehicle with real power.

The only ones I could find were over $300 and they are the racing oil pans. I talked to the guy that sold me my motor and he found me one and I should have it here in the next week or so. It ran me $144 with pickup tube and new dipstick. Thanks for all of your help with this. I will post pictures of the truck when completed.
