front/rear speakers?

Got a '96 bronco and am running some 4 way 6 1/2" up front but not sure if I should run 4 way 6X8 or 2 way 6X8 in the rear? I'm also running a 10" sub if that matters.

I think the multiple channels is completely exagerated. The ones up front have enough levels of sound, so there really won't be any benefit with doing that in the back speakers. I'd just go with the 2 channel. You already have high range up front, now you need lower-mid range, and you already have subs.

I am in agreement; anything over 2 way is a gimmick. If you can make a good 6.5, 2 way work, I'd go with that.

I would recommend the DB Drive Platinum PL5.7. They are a 5x7 coaxial with a crossover. Since you're running a subwoofer you don't need your speakers trying to run that low signal leaving room for powerful midbass and piercing highs. These speakers smooth it all out.
