hello, does anyone on here know where i can find an engine for my 1950 F8 ford? it is the big 337 flathead V8. any leads would be appreciated. thanks, matt
I assumed the Wood part was a PTO or something. Good luck! I may be able to look the stuff over for you this weekend, email me if you want me to. The phone number rings a bell, but I can't figure out who it is.
Except for the early 49 the Lincoln 337 used hydraulic lifters and matching cam. All trucks had solid lifters and a truck grind cam.
Those were Fords first whack at hydraulic lifters and they dont like much RPM plus NOS ones are mighty pricey.
Not positive but I think the water pumps are also different.
