I need help !!!!!

I know this has been brought up before but I need to know if or how to remove my light gray dash pieces seen in picture. I tried to look under the dash but really can see anything. I don't want to start removing piece after piece just to found out I can't remove them My truck is get custom painted in a week and I want to paint these pieces to match.

Those light gray portions are actually part of the entire dash from door to door! The other pieces are added on top. So, those are not individual pieces that you can just remove. They ARE the main dash unit. You can remove it (others have), but it'll require taking apart your entire dash. Check out the following diagram:
