One last dilema
I finally found the output shaft yoke and speed cable for my truck and tranny combination I put in. Ok here is the next problem I found is putting the yoke on the driveshaft, the older yoke which was not as wide measuring from the cap ends. The new one is like I am only guessing like a quarter inch wider from where the caps go. We got it all together but it really wasent in the right place. Can I get taller needle bearing caps or is there more to it. I have a driveshaft that has the right universal on one end but on the other end it wouldnt bolt to the rearend. Do you get what Im saying? And I am not sure around swapping the yokes around from one to the other because it looks to me that the caps are wider also so it probably wont fit. I think if I could take some pictures it would be easier to describe my problems. I remember someone saying something about conversion universal joints or something like that. Thanks for the help
