Miss At Idle
Symptoms: Well first of all if I sit in traffic and am barly moveing the check engine light will come on. The first time tis happened I took It to my work and scanned it. I had a code 32 and another one I couldnt remember. But I remember what they stood for. One was for EVP sensor signal was too high and the other was System was sensed lean. So I purchased a new EGR from Npa But Thought I should find out wht the real problem was before I go wasting money on parts that may be good. So then I hooked the snap on scanner up the next day and there were no memory codes?
The miss is very noticeable at cold idle In gear, and After I get off the freeway and idle in gear for a couple of minutes the miss comes back again.
I just want to be absolutly positive on what to replace so I don't end up replacing parts that arn't defective.
It's very agrevating that the truck does miss nd I really want to fix the problem
Have you checked for vacuum leaks or put a vacuum gauge on the motor?
