4B INTAKE MANAFOLD
In any case, you have a 4v manifold cast on January 5, 1966 (6A5). I think you misread one number. The C5AE indicates an automotive engine part initially released for production in 1965. The next four digits should be 9425, not 8425. 9425 was Ford's code for an intake manifold. All intake manifolds had that number. The last digit (the "C") is the engineering revision code.
I don't know anything about that specific manifold. Most 4v FE manifolds are pretty comparable, however. The only exceptions I'm familiar with are various rare 427-specific manifolds (medium and high riser, tunnel port, etc.) and the relatively "S" code manifolds from 390GT engines and the like. The "S" code manifolds are generally considered to be more desirable that standard FE 4v manifolds, but consensus around here is that none of the Ford original manifolds were very good. They're all extremely heavy, and you'd do better with an aftermarket aluminum piece like the Edelbrock Performer RPM.
