will some 1 please help me ? i have a 88 broncoII that i have just put a new motor in(2.9) and i can't get the fuel pump to work. and its a new pump and i even tested it so i know it works.. please help me or tell me if i could run a wire that will turn it on when the key switch is on.

Do you have a wiring diagram? The fuel pump wiring isn't too complicated: B+ -> relay -> inertia switch -> fuel pump -> B-. Relay is opened/closed by the main computer. I suspect either you forgot to hook something up, or there's some other break in the circuit. In either case, it shouldn't be too hard to track down with a voltmeter and a wiring diagram.
i checked the inertia switch and it was not tripped. i tripped it then reset it also checked where the fuel pump plugs in with a volt meter it has power..
Check for voltage at the wires were it goes into the fuel pump,I had a short at the rear of the frame above the fuel tank and also a fualty connection at the top of the tank wire connector.
