Dash and Side Mirrors

I am going to try to put a new stereo into 96 ford XL, 5 speed. Could someone help me with the piece of the dash that I need to remove? How to get it off?

Also, the side mirrors are suppose to fold in, but I can not move them. Rusty? or is there a trick to folding them in?

So no trick needed? No buttons that I cant see? Just good ol rust? I'll give that a try. Thanks for replying.

I did get the stereo in. pretty easy once you look into it.!!

stereo should be a breeze. Did you get the mirror to budge? I had to yank mine harder than I wanted to to get it to fold. It worked though, and isn't near as hard anymore.
