sound deadner

I bought a 1985 Mustang project about half finished. When I put the interior back in, is it worth it to put the sound deadner back in? Will there be any more interior rattles or will there simply be more road noise?

Yes, put it back in, put extra in, if you can afford it. Depending on the interior, it could be serving both road noise and rattle damping.

you want it in there, trust me. Vehicles make awful amounts of noise with nothing to soften the blow.
