Power Steering
I have a 1989 F250, while driving straight down the road my steering will randomly jump/jerk. While actually turning it seems to be fine. However the jerking seems to only be getting worse. I checked the fluid and it is at the correct level but smells badly burnt (it is a red/brown color). Also when I first start the truck any small turn results in squealing. I have no idea what the cause of this could be, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

there's just a ton of reasons for steering to act up...
when you have some time take it down to your local shop of your choice and have them look at it...
I have dont this several times through out the years...
