Engine swap FE to a Smallblock
I am installing a 400/c-6 combo in my shortbed 1969 F100. Can you gents tell me what I need in the way of changing the motor mounts. I plan on just unbolting the tranny support and sliding it on the frame and re-drilling it. I know I might need to get the driveshaft cut. The truck has a 3 spd floor shift(the column broke before I owned it).
Any info would be appreciated before I dive in.

I think the small blocks use the same motor mounts. I went from 360 to 302 and just got 302 mounts for a 72. I would think c6 would be a better choice for this application. Also this what was used in these trucks. You can see what I got going on at web site below.
