Has anyone here installed aftermarket rims on their Expy? I've tried looking at some of the rides here on this board and found a couple but nothing interesting that caught my eye. I'm in the market for some 22's just to jazz it up a lil, dont wanna have to pay an arm and a leg. Anyone here know where I can find a website that sells them at a reasonable price?
You won't find a better place than ebay. for 1997-2002 expys $700-$1500 and 2003-2006 you lookin at $900-$2500 dollars. You cant beat those prices anywhere. Also plan on spending a lot for the tires. Get a brand name (Pirreli, Bridgestone). Stay away from Nexen, and other cheap brands, or plan on losing control of your suv. trust me ive made that mistake before, and it cost me $$$. Try Kuhmo tires good tire cheap price. If your not a big ebay fan. Try www.superbuytires.com got a set of rims for my car for a good price
I've been checking out the prices for wheels and tires and I think I found a place that has some of the best prices I've seen yet. I think they might be better than e-bay. (I'm still gonna do my homework.) Here is the site www.performanceplustire.com I'm really thinking of going with them on my wheel/tire package.
Does anyone make a 17" chrome rim that will fit a 2004 expy? Any help would be appreciated. I do not want to go up to 20" plus rims.
I got 17" Pro-Comps, although they are polished, they have chrome versions as well, and in a bunch of different styles. Cheap too... well, inexpensive, not cheap.
Buy a set of chome rims for the Limited Edition Expy. Same style, just chrome. My neighbors parents have a Limited and I think they look nice. Especially if you'd like to stay with the stock size. There would be no questions of whether or not they would fit correctly.
You would be much better off looking for some Limited wheels on Ebay or some other method. The dealer will rape you for a new set of factory wheels. You would be better off with a set of aftermarket wheels that would look better anyways.
Boy I'll tell you... I'd like NOTHING more than a sweet set of rims; however, everything I see is just to pimp daddy for me. I wish somebody had something more 'futuristic/industrial'.
