Super Duty

For 2005 the "Super Duty" model was redesigned. These included a new grille, new interior, and factory installed trailer brake controller and upfitter switches. The engines were also upgraded, with the new 3 valve 5.4L V8 and 6.8L V10 putting out 300 and 362 horsepower, respectively. The Powerstroke Diesel was also modified, boosting torque from 560ft/lb to 570ft/lb, but horsepower stayed at 325.

The truck will be completely redesigned for 2007, along with the introduction of a new 6.4 L twin-turbo Power Stroke Diesel V8. The engine is said to produce 350 hp (260 kW) and 650 ft·lbf (880 N·m), beating both the General Motors Duramax V8 and DaimlerChrysler's Cummins ISB I6 on both power and torque.[1]

i'm keeping the tried and true obs beast.

there is a forum in here about em.. last time i looked a few months ago everyone was talking about who knew more and who had seen one being tested in colorado. i didnt care to go back and look.

my truck has 300+ at the rear wheels

for 2 or 3 new truck payments you can make your obs a rocket ship

There is a lot of bs on the 6.4 powerstroke thread. Nothing is for sure. But it sounds like it will be an 08 model. I think they are waiting on the release to avoid issues like the 6.0. I wouldnt call the 6.0 a letdown, they are very strong engines. My dads 04 has 85,000 miles on it, only been in the shop a couple times but nothing major.
