will these headers work
I was wondering if the headers off of my 1981 f150 4x4 with a 4 speed would fit my 1970 ford f100 with a 302 and a four speed as I have no extra money to buy a new set of headers

1978 F-150 Custom turned into a dune buggy 300-I6 4 speed
Im a typical teen, i just have to change it!

I think if the bolt pattern is the same try it
out,there's alot of space in old pickups below
for exhuast pipes n'stuff in case of different clearence
or whatever. How did you turn that 76 into a
buggy my 1970 is an inspections victum, its got
a 390 I always wanted to make a dune buggy out of
it but I always thought the motor would be to
heavy.
I'm wide open to your ideas!

I will try to borrow a digital as soon as I can to post the pictures of my buggy, but for now I will describe it for you. It started out as a regular cab long box pickup, I took the body off and cleaned up the frame. Then I took it to shop class and we chopped four feet out of the frame and made a sliding driveshaft then I used 2 7/8 pipe to make the roll cage I used a ch--- trunk lid for my floor boards I used the chunk we cut out of the frame as the main support for the roll cage and I mig welded a pair of 6" stacks to it (it actually sounds like a V-8 untill about 2500 RPM). And thanks for the header advise
