paint job

I am getting a paint job soon. i am just getting it all gloss black. does anyone know of a reliable, well known place that does good work and for a fair price? there is some body work that i can take care of, but there is a few dents that are hard to get..

If you are thinking less than $3,000.00 for a black paint job, you had better wait until you can save up more money. IMHO

Unless every panel is perfect, you probably will not be satisfied with the finished job. The darker the color, the more any imperfections will show. Lighter colors will hide more sins. Good luck.

Black paint jobs generally cost more that other colors. The body shop has to spend more on the body work, and they don't want to skimp because it will hurt their rep.

With professional paint jobs you get what you pay for. I have one truck with a very nice job and one cheapy. There is a BIG difference. Just depends on what you can live with. As others have said, black is the worst color unless your preparation is complete.
