59 gasser question
OK guys, thanks for all of the feedback about whether I should go gasser or rat rod, now, I decided I want to do an old gasser look, my truck has a straight axle under the front with leafs, how can I get that mile high nose look, can I get bigger springs out of the boneyard, can I have mine rearched? Please let me know, also, are there any other mods I need to make to the front suspension to facilitate the higher rake? One more question, I was just given a 390 and I am looking for a four speed standard or an automatic c-6 to go with it, are any c-6's compatible with the 390 or only a 390 trannie? Thanks.
