I had problems with the hazards, and the turn signals not working on my 2001 f150 sc. I fixed that problem. Work now, loose connection in steering column. Now though one of the rear brake lights/turnsignals do not work. Can anyone lend a hand on how to fix. I figure that there is a loose wiring somewhere. Please help.
If both the turn and the brake signal do not work, I bet it's in the column again.
Put the turnsignal switch in the middle position, and then find the orange/lightblue wire(right rear stop/turn) and the lightgreen/orange wire(left rear stop/turn) coming out the bottom of the column.
Push on the brake pedal and probe the above two wires for voltage.
If one of them does not have power, you still have a problem in the column. If both have power, then you have a wiring problem somewhere along the frame rail or the rear light area.
