351M Fuel Pump

This is a easy question (I hope) ....On a 351M fuel pump, which side is the inlet and which side is the outlet of the pump? When I stripped the truck down to the frame (months ago) I never marked them and there is no markings on the pump.

The inlet should be on the bottom, and outlet(to carb) is above it. If I remember correctly, it should be a rubber hose clamp type connection on the bottom and a 1/4" threaded connection above for the metal fuel line to carb.

Actually the inlet/outlet are side to side, but one is threaded and one is barbed for a hose. So the threaded side should be the outlet to the carb?
