Finally got it painted
Well I've had this long block 292 sitting in my garage for 2 months now, And I finally got around to painting it. I used POR 15, and POR engine enamel, It came out really good. Hopefully I'll have it in the truck in around 3 or 4 weeks....

very nice!! I have my 272 drivetrain that I am putting back together myself though it is not ground up. I am just cleaning up stuff and replacing gaskets on the motor. the 3 speed OD is getting rewired and the shaft will have new u-joints. I plane on pressure washing the block several times and suffing it enough (hopefully) to get a yellow repaint. Kepp up the good work!
