Trans problem??
Hi everyone,
I have an 05 F-150 with 4,800 miles. It's only been on the highway twice and both times I've had problems with it. The first time on the highway, the entire truck began shaking and acting like it was about to cut off at 80 mph and the check engine light came on so I had to pull over and shut the truck off. This past weekend, I had it on the highway again and it started doing the same thing. On the highway and on cruise control, the truck will jerk like it's trying to shift.It feels like what my 96 camaro was doing before I had to have the tranny rebuilt so I'm alittle nervous. It's under warranty but I know it's going to be a hassle to deal with if it is the transmission.
Is it possible to have tranny problems with a new truck or could this be something else?
