rad. over kill four core
I have an 1986 bronco with an 300 inline and was thinking of installing an radiator I have laying around it is off an F-250 HD that I am parting out. tha radiator that is in it is is a single core small rad. so is it going to be over kill

Absolutely not. The larger radiator will provide greater heat dissapation and one of the greatest harms that can be done to an engine is excessive heat. Additional cooling will only serve to improve the longevity of the engine. Is it overkill? Yeah probably (afterall the radiator in there was probably doing just fine) but not in any way to be a detriment to the operation of the engine its cooling. I swapped the HD radiator from my 92 with the tow package into a 93 that had the standard radiator and if I had one from a 460 I'd swap it in. Heat kills moving parts, plain and simple. The better you can dissapate it, the longer and better the moving parts will function.

Over Kill
I tend to agree with grey streak, will the radiator u will be changing out work with your 4.9. Reason asking, i wanna bigger rad for my 4.9 f-150 , to dissapate more of this summer south humidity 100 degree temps TR
