retarding the timing
how would one go about getting this done? could it be done by myself with simple tools or would i have to go and get this done by someone (a pro)? i need help with this asap! thanks in advance

I did a quick search under "how to set timing" in this forum...
These are my results...

The 7th or so down ("distributor/timing") has specific instuctions about setting the timing.
Set it to 10 degrees BTDC (before top dead center) as a factory spec.
