Where can i get mirrors? I'd like to get the larger "head" mirrors, but not the camper special mirrors. Just the ones the attatch at the top of the vent window and below the window on the door. The owner's manual calls them Western Jr. mirrors.

I got mine at a local junk yard theses mirrors were standard on all rangers you can usually find them at a junk yard and they are easy to clean up they are all stainless steal except the bolts which can be replace with stainless ones from any good hardware store. If you are looking for a good cheap set of mirrors that look fine thius would be the way to go.
I got mine from a local yard. They are off a 76 van. The heads are the same, only difference is the mounts and arms so mine are modified but only cost $20.

i got a nice stainless steel set you could get really easy from me i'm sticking with those from a 91 model less trouble let me know what you think! thanks kevin
You do have to drill into the door for screws. I figured that because they were held on by just two arms that they would "flap" in the wind but they don't. I've had mine almost two years now and they are still as sturdy as when I bought them.
Being chrome plated, you do need to take steps to make sure they don't rust out on you. That's the only flaw I've seen with them so far.
These mirrors do look good on Ford pickups. My '68 F-100 has them.
Having said that, I would like to add a note of caution if you are not used to these mirrors. They will obscure your vision to the front quarter of your truck. When approaching an intersection, be careful as these mirrors will hide a vehicle coming up the side street. You may never know it's there until you hit it.
Other than that I really like my mirrors. i'm thinking about adding some spot mirrors below them. Then it will look like the semi I drive.
