What do you guys think about an spray on bed liner?
I was thinking about getting the Line-X spray brand.
Which one is more rugged Line-X or Rhino?
Right now I have an 3/8" thick rubber bed mat.

I have a Line-X in my '03 F250 and have been very happy with it. No visible wear, and it DOES get used, and the surface has enough tension so that things don't slide around.
I had a Rhino lining in an early truck and the Line-X is definately a superior product. No comparison.
Well worth the investment. Not only does it protect the bed and cargo but will actually improve the resale/trade value of your truck later on down the road.
Yeah, actually, our 2 new work trucks (05F150 and 04 F350) both have line x bedliners. We just got a new truck (06 F350) and were quoted 470$ to get a line x liner in it. Were thinking about just doing the herculiner spray by ourselves. Anyone have any experience with spraying herculiner? or any experience with rolling herculiner? How does it hold up?
I love line-x I had it in my 04 Heritage Scab F150 and now put it in my brand new 06 F250. Out of all my friends with trucks (about 10) one has Rhino lining and it looks like cottage cheese. Line-X is sprayed on hot and conforms perfectly to the bed. Rhino goes on cold and looks like crap (melted thick ice cream) in comparison. Local Linex dealer has a photo album of many many Rhino lining jobs they have ripped out and replaced with Line-x.
i have rhino liner in mine love it.... its a little softer and rubbier than the line x i believe my buddy got line x and it chips a lot havent had ne problems with mine yet
Rhino hear,no problems..Most importantly, check in to the installer. Look at their work. Do they remove the hardware etc. This will make the biggest difference!!
Just had the Line-X sprayed in a week ago and so far IM happy with it.
Had a load of rocks in it this weekend and after unloading the rock, I sprayed it down with the water hose and it still looks like new, Very impressed.
I've got Line-X in my '06 F350, and also in the dump bed of my Kubota RTV. That thing spends lots of time outside, gets loads of logs and rocks, rough usage all around, and still looks great. Highly recommend Line-X.
I was wondering the same thing a few months back, before getting my spray-in.
Do a search on Line-X in the Superduty forums, and every thread you find will have a large majority in favor of Line-x over Rhino (tougher, lifetime nationwide warranty), and spray-in over drop in (no rust underneath, permanent adhesion, etc).
Anyone heard anything on the herculiner DIY spray in? I agree on the line x too. Have it on 2 of our new work trucks and its pretty sweet. But for the price we could spray 3 work trucks ourselves with herculiner by the time we could send 1 off to have it line-xed
