Headlight relay question

so do i have the wrong relays if i only have 85, 86, 87, and 30?

If they are rated at 20 amps or more they will be fine. Just determine which are the contacts, for the power to go through to the lights from the battery. The other two will be the coil, one side gets the signal from the switch and the other side goes to ground.

What amperage of a fuse would you recommend? 15A? Or I suppose I could just look in the fuse box and see what is already being used for my headlights.

Fifteen amps is fine.
Volts X amps = Watts
Take the wattage of the headlamps (I'll use 55watts as an example.)
Divide the headlight wattage by the volts. 12v
55w divided by 12v equals 4.6 amps. Times two bulbs is just under 10 amps.
The filiments draw more when cold, but that is only for an instant but it has to be allowed for. So yes, a fifteen amp fuse is good.

So do I have to run the 12 guage wire from battery to just one relay or both?

One wire is fine. Just a jumper from one relay to the next. Only one works at a given time.
