transmission question
my truck is 88 f150 and it had a manual trans that came with it and the letter in the door is M and i found a 89 f150 with a automatic in it and the letter was a o and the transmission is a metic and it dont have a vaccum modulator so how does it shift by electronic or the cable that i throught was passing gear and is the drive shaft the same for the two and if the cable is what changes the gears then how do u set it of u can help me with this let me know
