Chevy 5.3L question

Is the Chevrolet 5.3L small block V8 OHV or OHC? Thanks.

Yup Nasa is right. Overhead valve. Push rod.

OHV pushrod motor, with aluminum heads. I have 05 Tahoe, with that engine, and it is a good runner.

I drove a 2003 2WD extneded cab with a small 2 wheel trailer from Kansas City to Pierre SD. It is a good motor. Was getting 21 MPG until I picked up a stong headwind. Then it was 19 MPG.
