Since they are so hard to find,if someone in the southeastern part of Michigan is looking for one,Briarwood Ford in Saline has a F-250 four door sitting on their lot. That is the first on I have seen on a lot since I found mine back in November.Just thought I'd let ya know.
The dealer in Minot ND (Westlie Motor Co.) Has two on the lot, both F250 XLT 4x4s, one is ext. cab and the other is a Crew Cab both being Short Boxs. And if someone from here happens to buy one of them the red CC has seen 5200rpms twice with less than 150miles on the clock, I know because I was the the one driving it, lol. Had to go fro a test drive and see what I've been missing!
I felt a little bad for the guy that actually buys it since I flat out told the salesman that if I'm spend 35-40k on a new truck it'll be configure the way I WANT IT, not the way some dealers order sheet is set up! So right form the get go I knew I wasn't buying that particular truck, it was only a test mule to see how much difference there was between it and my current truck, at least I was honest, lol!
Funny story though, when we took it out for a test drive I had my buddy, whom owns a 6.0L Diesel, and of course the salesman. I took it out on the highway warmed it up good and then gave it two hard pulls, one with TowHaul engaged and one without. Me and my buddy were making comments about the acceleration and difference in the trans ect and to this point the salemans hadn't said a word. Outa the blue he asks "what do you guys do with these trucks? race em? I chuckled and said well the only way I have to judge the power increase and the way the trans acts under load is a couple of hard accelerations, thats is unless you're willing to let me go get my boat and camper and hook it up to them so I can actualy see the difference! When we left the dealer ship both me and my buddy got a good chuckle outa that.
