Hey everyone. I got a 95 Ranger with a recently rebuilt 4r44e trans and at times it wants to shift hard, almost like it has a shift kit installed. I scanned for codes but nothing related to the VSS,etc. I read on a thread somewhere that you can make an adjustment to something to at least make the shifts a little smoother.I cannot remember where I read the thread,but I remember the guy saying that there was some type of valve or screw that you could turn a half turn or something like that and it would help with the hard shifts. Can anyone tell me what this screw is and where it is and how much to turn or was I just dreaming? Thanks in advance for any and all info and have a good weekend.
