Diablo predator / mpg

I tried searching, but couldn’t find what I was looking for. I thought I remember reading where the 80 HP setting is the best for mileage. Does anyone know if this is true? Also the directions say for this setting, you need a modified exhaust. Do the stock pipes less a muffler meet this requirement?

I run the 80 hp setting, and I got 17.8 mpg last week. Just getting out of winter fuel here so milage is picking up. I run the stock exhaust with a MBRP muffler and have no temp issues. I would recommend gauges to monitor tenps just to be safe.

The 60hp setting is the one they recommend for fuel mileage gains, Thats what I run it on most of the time-I'm getting 16-17 mpg, also thinking that I'm seeing the end of the dreaded 'winter blend.' Be careful with the Predator tunes without upgrading your exhaust-a new, bigger downpipe is the key to lowering your EGT's. Have fun
