Flywheel replacement

I'm not a clutch specialist but....if the ring gear teeth are chewed you may want to address that. If the F/W shows severe hot spots or abnormal wear there again might want to seek assistance ............ search internet for and call Carolina clutch for more info or one of the advertisers here.
Note the bolt threads on the F/W will require a sealant to stop oil from coming back out of the pan. Permatex aviation #3 I believe......

My flywheel was in good shape when I did mine, I replaced the clutch disc, and pressure plate and throw out bearing and it was good to go.
The last time I replaced it I did have the flywheel surfaced (turned) at a local machine shop. Good as new after that. When you have it out, also inspect the clutch fork and pivot point for wear and lubricate it when you reinstall it.
