engine swap

is it possible to swap out a 4cyl 2.5L ranger engine for something like a 4.0 v6
ranger motor and what all would you need to change with the engine

What year is your truck ? If that truck came in 4 or 6 cyl options than yes it is. If it's fuel injected you will need to change out the ECU Computer...and the ICM (Ignition Control Module) if you have one for the V6. I'm not sure if the Engine Wiring Harness will have different Connectors or not.
