Pulled negative battery cable and warning lights are flashing!
The other day I pulled off the negative cable from the battery on my 97 2wd 4.6. Well after putting it back on the airbag readiness light is flashing five times then two times and repeats that sequence of 5 and 2 for a total of 5 times. My check engine light came on and also my LLS compressor keeps cycling on every few minutes....I turned off the LLS while bags were fully inflated and they held pressure just fine.....I have to now drive with LLS off for fear of blowing the bags.....Not sure what to do.....Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks in advance........Chris
1. Disconnect the negative cable, then the positive cable.
2. Let it sit for 15 minutes.
3. Reconnect positive cable, then negative cable
4. Re-evaluate
If the problem is still present after this, I'd have a shop look at it.
