Truck's DEAD!
The wife went to go for a drive yesterday and only made it a mile. She thought it was my homebrew that killed it and I thought maybe. Wrong! I should have guessed. The way it was going was exactly what the guys on the diesel forum described. CPS is gone. (Crank position sensor) THey said to always have a spare in the truck, but I thought I'd be OK. They're $140 at International and over $300 at Ford. They take around 10 minutes to change. That's why the guys said to have one. Saves a lot of trouble. Goin to pick it up this afternoon.

Paso1 had the same problem once. He said it`s a good idea to carry a spare but it`s a fairly pricey item to have kicking around. Your posts this morning sound real scary: out of oil and truck`s dead...
