speedo hookup

On a 1980 ford f-100 with a NP 435 where does the speedo cable go? or does it have a sensor on the rear diff? I can't find a port on the trans to save my life.

It should located be on the tail shaft housing on the drivers side.

just checked its not there. This NP 435 has the short tail shaft where else could it be?

look like this?if so to the right of the two bolts it the speedo atachment area.
