This may not be the correct forum but, I was woundering whats gonna be new in the 07 model year? Does ford have any plans to up the towing, power, any new options locking differentials? Anything along these lines in the near future for the f-150? If I am in the wrong forum please direct me to the correct one.

no word on towing yet. As far as power you probable won't see anything done there until 09MY. "Rumors" say we will get the 6.2L and 6 speed trans for 09 ( maybe even a diesel), but these are just rumors right now.

Wow a bunch of really great info. Where can I find this at to get my fix?
Is there any talk about a telescoping steering wheel? No talk about a locking differential?

Sorry no link. I got the info from our monthly newsletter( Dearborn Truck). As for the hydraulic launch assist (hydraulic hybrid) the only news I have heard is that Ford does intend to have it by 09MY, but I have not heard anything inside the plant about it. I am keeping my fingers crossed because I have an interview at 2:30 friday for a spot on the launch team. If I get it I will let you know everything I can find out (and disclose) otherwise I'll just ask the launch team next week. As for now this is the only info I have.

Well, I got the spot on the launch team. It's not for the 07, but instead I get to go to the pilot plant and help build the 09 . The bad thing is I know Ford won't let me disclose what I see .

Rumor mill on blueovalforums.com says cleveland will be getting it.

 

Well since we don't offer it now I don't know if they will for 07. We have only been told about new colors and options.
On a side note the Harley Davidson 150 is not a two-tone as I stated before. it is actually a two color, depending on how the light hits, it either looks black or dark purple( I must say it looks VERY nice).

And the next question is, why cant you get dual power/heated for the leather seats with the FX4 ?
Will this be a option for the 07?

It seems rather goofy to me that you can get leather but you can only get it heated on the drivers side
