Trans Question?!
Ok guys so when im driving,at any speed,overdrive on or off, if I let off the gas the slowly try to accelerate again,as soon as I touch my foot to the pedal it feels like its downshifting.
But could it be the converter locking and unlocking? its weird and I dont like it bc it will rev up then go back into lock up,or rev up then go back into gear...
It almost feels as if the trans is slipping but im not sure
this is on a 99250ld with a 5.4...

My 97 F150 4.6 auto does the same thing when I let off the gas and hit the gas again it unlocks then locks up again. It only does this if I am going 30mph or more with the OD on most of the time.
