I just got home from Iraq on Sat. Really missed my truck and family too!Ha Ha. Wife gave me a letter from dealer about emissions recall. I have no engine light AND MILEAGE IS 16.5 W/ 35"Tires and lift. Edge tuner so i always have it mashed. I have heard horror stories of reflash issues and am unsure on how to proceed. There is also no recall number just the warning tht the DMV gustapo may not let me renew if te recall is not recorded.
I did do recall and now my superchip won't work have to send back to them for an update ford changed two files something to do with the idle but i did get malfunction light and had an erratic idle before installing chip there where no codes presant
When they do the recall they give you paperwork to turn into the DMV, but when my renewal notice came in it did not having anything stated on it was required to be done. I just paid my registration online and received my new tags 3 days later.. That was fast for the DMV!!!! The dealer or Ford may send a notice letting the DMV know it was done also.
