88 E150 Fuel Pressure Relief

I have a 88 Ford E150 with a 4.9L 300cid engine with dual gas tanks, I need to replace the fuel pump in the rear tank, I have siphoned out all of the gasoline and now need to release the pressure before I disconnect the fuel lines.
Can someone please tell me how to do this?

disconnect the conn at the rail fuel pump or pump relay. crank it a few seconds

if it starts it should stall....then crank it a few seconds more.

reconnect the con. then pull the neg battery cable.
