Ford Newbie Here!!
Hello all, I'm a Newbie to the Ford world. I have been into 4x4 trucks and off-roading all my life but mostly with Jeeps. But I have always liked the 1977 Ford pickup body style, and after years of prodding a buddy of mine has finally given me his!! It's all that I like, a 4x4, regular cab longbed, and a manual trans. It does run, he drove it daily up until about 2 yrs ago, but needs a carb rebuild. The bed sides are good but the floor is gone, and the cab isin't that great. I do have a pair of southern doors and fenders for it. Right now I am looking to fix it up enough to drive it as a "toy" and eventually a full restoration. Like I said, I am new to Fords so I will be needing a lot of advice and parts, which is why I decided to join this site. Here are a few pics so you can see what I'm starting with...sorry they're not too good but I took them in the barn where it's been sitting for 2 yrs.

We are happy to have you! There is a ton of great info on this site. But, before you go snooping around there are a few things you need to do first.
1) Want to meet or talk to other members in your area? There are Provincial, State and International Chapters located near the bottom of the main forum page.
2) Before you post a thread asking a question be especially aware of where (what forum) to place it in. FTE is HUGE! Make sure you read the Read First: at the top of the forum before you go posting.
3) And finally you should review the Guidelines. They will kind of give you an idea of what is and isn't allowed on this site ("The Rules").
