power rating a 390
Bob, How do you know that the engine in your truck is a 390? I ask because a lot of 352s & 360s become 390s on sale day, since you can't look at them and tell the difference.

power rating a 390
The 390 had 255 HP @ 4400 RPM and 376 Ft/lbs torque @ 2600 RPM in 1968. No matter what year (provided we'er talking about the truck version), the specs didn't differ dramatically.
