You know - thing about big tires is that you're going to drop a bit of MPG there, but the mort important thought is what kind of tires will last a good long while.
If you need them to last, stay the heck away from Mickey Thompsons! They're made out of a very soft compound to make them grab better, but they wear out faster because of it.
Super Swampers are good for years if you keep your truck aligned and don't overload them. They're just about all load range D if I remember right. You can't argue with the tread depth!
I've heard good things about BFG's, they seem to last a long time.
