Probably covered previously but can't search the forum. I have a 2005 4x4 Screw. Standard 17" wheels. Truck's standard stance is slightly lower in front. I've seen identical trucks that have been lifted in the front. Any reasonable or smart way to do this w/o bigger wheels and major suspension alteration? Would like the truck to at least sit level or just slightly higher in front...

This is the best kit. I have the 2" and it sits perfectly level. Alot of ppl say the 2.5 is too much. If you dont want bigger tires I wouldnt do it though it will look goofy. You can put 35" tires on the stock wheels with the 2" kit, but I would only recommend 33's. The offset design keeps the spring from hitting the upper control arm. No other manufacture does that.
I often wonder why someone would want to alter their nice, new truck?
I myself wondered why the "nose down" look. It seems that it's the way the truck is supposed to be so why tamper with that?
Also, the trucks already come equipped with pretty good-sized tires so why swap them out for bigger ones? The original ones will probably only sit in your way in the garage for years instead of getting the use from them.
I'm also not sure how some of you can justify the expense of doing these things.
I also wonder how these things affect your factory warranty?- I know I'd hate to have to take my brand new truck back to my dealer for a problem and have them see some type of modification.
I wore out my original tires before I bought new ones. I personally think that the original tires are too small that I why I bought bigger ones. Mainly for the look. As for installation. With 2 floor jacks and standard hand tools you can do it in about an hour. The autospring kit comes with good directions. Simple take the factory strut out. Bolt the space on top and bolt the strut back in. Then go get it aligned. My toe was out 2 deg after the kit so dont skip that part.

Maybe I'm missing something here?
You are.
People do these mods BECAUSE THEY WANT TO.
It's really that simple. Some folks lower their vehicles, some raise them. I don't make judgements on either although obviously I have my preference (higher = better ).

It's all about doing what you WANT.
CMOS
It's nice to be able to do those things if they "want" to. However, some of those modifications will likely void the factory warranty so I hope folks keep that in mind.
I think the trucks are pretty nice just the way they are!

If you get bigger tires go ahead and get new rims too, that way you can hang on to your stock tires and rims, then if your have any transmission or drivetrain problems you can slap those stock tires/rims back on before you take it to Ford. They should never know the difference.
I questioned my dealer about the warrenty issue with larger tires, they said "that could void your warrenty." Example: if your transmission fries, you bring it to us, we have to call FORD adjuster to approve warrenty work, thier first question is, are there any modifications?, we have to say YES. What it all boils down to is what kind of mood is the adjuster in today?" That is what I was told by my dealer. The service manager is the one that suggested to me to hang onto my stock tires/rims, for this very reason. And this dealer installs the front leveling kits, so how can FORD deny warrenty on something that the dealer installed?????
Something to think about
Take a look at my gallery, I have the AutoSpring 2.5" kit on mine.
I guess personal taste has something to do with it. I, along with a lot of other people on this forum consider the original tyres to be far too small for the size of the truck. I have said before that I find it difficult to understand why Ford would fit such small tyres. I spend a lot of time in the desert so correct tyre choice is important to ensure decent performance.
The expense is not excessive and Ford have confirmed that my warranty is not affected.
