Im doing an intake swap on my 360. Gonna get rid of the little 2 bbl and put on a 4 bbl I took of a 390. Looks pretty straight forward but my question is:
Is there any other parts I should change other than the carb of course, Maybe vac advance? OBTW the truck is a 76 f-150 and the new old 4bbl is off a 75'. It is converted to propane. Any advise would be appriecated,thanks.........Kurt
I just did this swap 2 weeks ago... and even with the stock exaust, the differance is GREAT ! really woke it up. I'd love to be able to toss on some headders !
I also added a 1" spacer to insulate the carb. from the heat of the engine.

thanks for the tips (almost for got about the water pump hose), other than a valve cover leak it seems to be working great. Just took it for a redneck testdrive (hood off) , these 360s really come alive with headers and an intake. Next upgrade will be an LPG turbo ................ Kurt
I'm looking to do the same swap for my 360. I already added the long tube headers. Now I'm looking for an Aluminum intake manifold for 2 barrel or 4 barrel.....Anybody have an Aluminum Intake Manifold.....they would like to sell. The 66 F-100 with the 360 would really wake up with the addition of a performance Manifold.....
E-mail me if you happen to have an Aluminum FE Block Manifold you like to part with.
