I have 10,000 miles on her and have had her in back to the dealer 3 times for coolant leaks. I will be bringing her back in tomorrow for try #4. It appears to drip in a different place every time. They have replaced clamps, hoses, and the EGR gasket. I had two V10 F250 trucks previously and never had a problem with either one. I was suckered into buying by the pitch of the longevity and power of the PSD. Instead I have a truck that's wimpy off the line and drips coolant. My V10s did neither. This has been the worst vehicle experience for me to date. Sorry, but I just had to vent. If anyone has any advice, please let me know. By the way, does anyone know the lemon law?
This may not matter to you, but at least the dealer is fixing it for you! Three different trips, three different parts replaced. Sounds like they are trying to help you out. Just remember one thing, they didn't build the things. Also, are you having any drivability concerns since it started to leake coolant?
There is no doubt the joy of a new vehicle has been ruined for you. In Florida a lemon law booklet comes with every new vehicle sold. I have already read the details in mine.
Well if the fourth try yields no result try a different dealer service department. How many techs work on diesels. Every dealership has one maybe two. Sorry to say all techs are not a like an some are much better then others. The main thing is to get to the root off the leak which they are not. In stead off going back tomorrow go to another dealer even if you have to drive aways. Leave your truck at the dealership as long as it takes so they can see where it is actually loeaking. They should be able to trace that leak. Is this a stock engine ( I assume it is) Meaning no chips or programmers. Good Luck sorry about your problems.

If you are that anxious to get into the the Lemon Law do a web search for "Texas Lemon Law" or go to the TXDOT site.
BTW: Some smaller dealerships don't even have a certified dealer tech. One of my local dealers has 7 certified diesel techs.
wish we had tougher or at least (a) lemon law up here in canada, i have one of those 05 lemons..... sux when you have that much coin tied up in vehicles that sit at a repair shop week after week
